HORIZONTAL LINES NOS. 1-3. November 26, 2015
Horizontal lines made with a brush and distemper on Japanese paper 19.5″ x 27.5″
These are horizontal lines continuous and broken. I tried to make the lines as even as possible. The first exercise keep the lines in the center of the paper with a margin all around. The last two exercises fill up the paper with lines. The brush needed dipping twice in distemper to make the longer broken lines. Pressure on the brush needed better control in order to reach the end of the paper with the continuous horizontal lines.
