After some time my paintings started to have a child-like quality. They look like naive or folk art. I love painting this way.

The woman is embracing a very large cat. She is looking at the cat tenderly. The cat looks like it doesn’t care, but deep inside it does care. There’s a bitter gourd vine with flower, fruit and ripe open fruit around the cat. Maybe this means the cat is just the bitter type. Above the woman’s head are three flowers of the bitter gourd
My cat Electricia is one of several animals on the farm. In this painting I made her very big. This makes me feel that I can love her more.
