I find some of my paintings awkward or incomplete. That’s when there’s a moment of breakthrough.

The woman has jumped over the fence to touch the pig’s snout. The pig is female, probably a gilt, and has 12 teats. Incense sticks are burning inside a tin can on the left and a ceramic teapot on the right. In the back garden, there are banana trees growing. There is a meandering footpath.
To calm my emotions, I tried aromatherapy, meditation, CBT. I got only temporary relief. The damage of maltreatment in therapy was too much.
